An average auto racing thriller based on the life of driver Lucky Teeter, DANGER ON WHEELS features Richard Arlen as the testing grounds chief for Atlas Motors and Andy Devine as his sidekick mechanic. A rivalry grows between Larry Taylor (Arlen) and top driver Bruce Crowley (Jack Arnold), resulting in Crowley's dismissal just before the big race. Taylor then has to drive the car himself, gets into an accident, kills the brother of the girl he loves, and nearly destroys her father's revolutionary oil-burning engine. In the end, however, he puts things right by placing the engine in the body of his car, winning an important race and getting the girl. leave a comment
