Withers and Carol meet during a dance contest, fall in love, and get married. Withers is an ambitious dancer and separates from Carol when she is unable to learn complicated dance routines. They get reunited by the end of the film, and settle down to married life. One song written for the film, "Dancing With Tears in My Eyes" (Al Dubin, Joe Burke), deleted from the final print, later became an enduring hit after it was introduced by Rudy Vallee on radio. Songs include: "Wishing and Waiting For Love" (Grant Clarke, Harry Akst), "Hullabaloo" (Bobby Dolan, Walter O'Keefe), "I Love You, I Hate You" (Al Bryan, Joseph Meyer), and "The Kiss Waltz" (Dubin, Burke). leave a comment
