A routine backstage story about a theatrical troupe that gets stranded when its federal WPA funds are cut off. Discovery of a wad of counterfeit bills enables the troupe to put up the deposit for a theater rental. The phony money backfires on opening night, but smart maneuvering saves the day and the show.
