Donald O'Connor chews up the scenery as the stage hand for a poor group of players who are touring the West along the edge of civilization. They all yearn to be thespians and none more avidly than O'Connor. He manages to capture bank robber Brennan (a familiar face in post offices across
the west) and becomes a hero. Price hams it up as the Barrymore type who has seen better days and whose words are a mixed bag of play dialog; Arden is Storm's mother, a one-time actress, and Storm is O'Connor's amour. It's a barely passable programmer that is only distinguished by the
