Four KingsNBC continues itsThursday-night tradition of inserting mediocre sitcoms between great ones. Remember The Single Guy? How about Jesse or Inside Schwartz or Stark Raving Mad or Cursed? Must-Not-See TV is more like it. Or Must-Wait-a-Half-Hour-Before-I-See TV. Perhaps I'm just bitter that Scrubs isn't in this time slot. I mean, how perfect would that be? NBC was brilliant to move My Name Is Earl and The Office to Thursday, but it should be Scrubs that follows Will & Grace, not this show. OK, I didn't hate it — I just didn't laugh. Not once. And that ain't good. I was glad to hear Anne Meara's voice in the beginning and at the end, but other than the "bro's before ho's" line that on
WB is premiering Felicity: An American Girl Adventure on Nov. 29. Golly, I hope Mike Ausiello knows this TV movie has nothing whatsoever to do with Keri Russell… Matt Dillon has agreed to marry Kate Hudson — in the upcoming comedy You, Me and Dupree. In the flick, their marriage is tested when slacker Owen Wilson moves in with them… First Cursed, now this: Christina Ricci has signed up to play a jinx in the drama Penelope, with Reese Witherspoon co-starring and producing.
Perhaps best known for her lustful hit "My Love Is Like... Wo," Mya is still valiantly plugging away at her acting career. The hip-hop songbird — who has appeared in Moulin Rouge!, Chicago and (ahem) Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights — has two big thespian projects right now.First off, there's Christina Ricci's just-released horror flick, Cursed. "I play Shannon Elizabeth's best friend in the movie," Mya tells TVGuide.com. "She has man problems and we try to solve the situation on our girls' night out at a carnival. We go take her issues to a freakin' fortune-teller, who ends up giving us no advice and [instead] says we're set up to be murdered. We're not buyin' it, but then weird things start happening."
