This pretentious, ultra-low budget art-house entry is the feature debut of director Alex Graves. An alienated, sexually unsatisfied housewife (Jennifer Taylor) drifts through a bleak Kansas landscape punctuated by phallic oil rigs; her fantasy of a dark stranger is personified by a
working-class stud (Aaron Shields) who involves her in a confusing tangle of intrigue. Graves manages a few resonant visuals, but how this moderately promising student film picked up Miramax distribution is anybody's guess.
