Former BBC disc jockey Mike Raven stars as a sculptor who creates statues by pouring molten bronze over the bodies of his unsuspecting female models. Yet another variation on the MYSTERY OF THE WAX MUSEUM theme, CRUCIBLE OF TERROR makes extensive use of picturesque Cornish locations. Cinematographer Peter Newbrook would go on to direct the interesting THE ASPHYX and THE DISCIPLE OF DEATH (both 1972), the latter employing many cast and crew members from CRUCIBLE OF TERROR. leave a comment
