Racing man McCrea is too broke to feed his horse when all appears to be solved by his finding half of a $1,000 bill. He is able to cash it in but the bill turns out to be loot from a bank robbery. The robbers come and hold him hostage but all works out and the horse wins the big race as well. This is an overlong comedy which suffers from a bad script as well.
