The matter-of-fact direction of this uninspired script leaves one cold while trudging through the thick plot. Parks, an American newsman in London, befriends Daniely, who turns out to be a secret agent. Carrying a valuable list of enemy agents which looks like a diary, she accidentally drops it. Parks picks it up, only to have a gun drawn on him. A struggle ensues and the woman is shot accidentally and killed.
