The Crooked Road: Review

Ryan is a journalist collecting information on despotic Balkan dictator Granger. When a contact from whom he was to buy some incriminating documents is found dead, Ryan is arrested and put in the custody of Granger, who begs him not to publish what he knows. Ryan refuses. After he gets the documents from Granger's mistress, her father stabs Granger to death. Crudely directed and acted, the film does have a few effective moments. leave a comment
