The Crooked Road: Review

An ordinary melodrama about the affluent Lowe whose past begins to threaten his position. A fellow jailbird blackmails the long-ago prison escapee. After a series of incidents, Lowe gets a murder pinned on him, only to be let off the hook by some fancy sleuthing. However, in the process Lowe's self-shortened prison term is revealed, and he is sent back to jail. leave a comment
