An unimpressive gangster film dealing with Prohibition-era hoods. The story is built around a respected citizen who is both chairman of the crime syndicate and foreman of the grand jury. A news-hound reporter, Neal, exposes all as the clock ticks mercilessly on. Songs include: "I'm Guilty"
