Crime Over London

A British attempt at the type of gangster picture that was being made by the dozens in America in the mid-1930s, this story involves a group of Chicago gangsters who find things too hot on their native soil and migrate to London. The gang members want to take over the entire town, but their boss keeps them in line until he can find the right job. The leader coerces the aide of a millionaire department store owner to help the gangsters rob the store for everything it's got. Of course, it doesn't work out and the crooks meet with the local bobbies and disaster.
