Crazylegs, All-American

Pro football Hall of Famer and one-time University of Wisconsin athletic director Elroy "Crazylegs" Hirsch plays himself in this film biography that begins with his introduction to football in high school. It follows the two-time All-American through his illustrious collegiate career at Wisconsin and Michigan and on into the pro ranks--first with the Chicago Rockets of the All-American Football Conference and then with the Los Angeles Rams. Doctors tell Crazylegs that injuries he received while with the Rockets will end his career, but he fights back and, shifting from the backfield to end, goes on to NFL glory.
