This is a story of six convicts who break out of prison to get to a fortune in gold coins, stashed away by their leader. Bendix, the leader, promises to cut the others in on the loot he has hidden in the mountains if they get him to a doctor to treat a wound suffered during the break. They get him to a doctor and then help him to the cache. One by one the six become fewer until only Bendix and Kennedy are left to uncover the coins.
