A number of old-time radio personalities enliven this otherwise dull comedy. Fast-talking campaign manager Foy talks Clyde into marrying him should his candidate for governor (Demarest) win. She immediately sets about helping the opponent (Peary aka: The Great Gildersleeve). Musical interludes are sprinkled at random throughout the show, including "Mornin' on the Farm" (Jack Elliott). leave a comment
