Count Dracula

For years, Christopher Lee wanted to play Dracula in accord with Bram Stoker's description in the novel, so it was with much fanfare that he announced he was finally going to do it in this film under the direction of Jesus Franco. One of the most prolific filmmakers in the genre (with over 130 feature films to his credit), Franco is, unfortunately, also one of the worst. Shot in Spain, COUNT DRACULA was given the typically cheap Franco production, suffers from an awful, unfaithful screenplay, and contains some laughably clumsy camerawork.
