Corridor Of Mirrors

Artist Portman becomes obsessed with a 400-year-old portrait of a young woman. He comes to believe himself the reincarnation of the girl's lover and sets out to find the reincarnation of the girl. He finds her in Romney, whom he takes back to his home and dresses in period clothing. Mullen is Portman's housekeeper, driven by jealousy to first try to scare away Romney, and finally to murder her, a crime for which Portman takes the blame. Christopher Lee makes his film debut in a minor part in this interesting melodrama. Two people involved in CORRIDOR OF MIRRORS expanded their artistic roles in the making of the film.
