Coronado

Flat little musical about a wealthy young man and the poor seaside resort singer he falls in love with. The film suffered a painful and humiliating demise at the box office in spite of fairly good songs and the Eddie Duchin Orchestra. Songs include: "All's Well In Coronado By The Sea," "You Took My Breath Away," "How Do I Rate With You?" "Keep Your Fingers Crossed," "Midsummer Madness," "Down On The Beach At Oomph," "Mashed Potatoes" (Sam Coslow, Richard A. Whiting), "I've Got Some New Shoes" (Coslow, Walter Bullock, Whiting), and "Which Is Which?" (Sidney Clare, Troy Sanders).
