The Underworld franchise continued to show life at the box office, with the fourth installment taking the top spot, Box Office Mojo reports.
Underworld: Awakening, starring Kate Beckinsale, grossed an estimated $25.4 million in its first weekend of release. Red Tails, also in its debut weekend, took in $19.1 million to take second place.

Mark Wahlberg may play a bigshot tough guy in Contraband, but comments he made suggesting he could have prevented some of the 9/11 tragedy have him apologizing.
"If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn't have went down like it did," Wahlberg said in the February issue of Men's Journal. "There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, 'OK, we're going to land somewhere safely, don't worry.'"
