A ridiculously inept crime-action film about an Italian mobster (Silvestre) who uses frogmen to smuggle diamonds from Mexico into the US. Although the US government wants to stop the smuggling, it does not want to strain relations with Mexico, so two Mexican detectives (Reyes and Chagoyan)
are assigned to the case. Apparently emulating the current stateside vogue for inserting popular music interludes into the action, the story is frequently interrupted so that various singers can warble their latest tunes. The result is inadvertently hilarious, as is the rest of the film.
