Van Cleef is an idealistic scientist who communicates with Venus on his ham radio until one of the Venusians ends up outside his window. The misled scientist believes these cone-shaped aliens with arms and obnoxious overbites will bring peace to Earth. Instead they begin a plan to transform mankind. With the aid of "bat-mites" the Venusians attempt to turn everyone into zombielike slaves.
