Set at the turn of the century in Coney Island, this film features Romero as the owner of a honky tonk where Grable performs. He and Montgomery are rivals for Grable's affection, and Montgomery also figures that Romero owes half of his club as payment for an earlier favor. Against that
backdrop, the film offers a host of song-and-dance numbers and the chance to see Grable's wonderful legs. Silvers and Winninger are memorable during their all-too-brief screen time. Technicolor photography was of the highest quality and all tech credits are topnotch. Songs from the Oscar-nominated
