Cartoonist Woody (Michael Crawford) gets a chance to live out his comic-strip-hero fantasies when a chum in the CIA (James Hampton) enlists him to exchange some papers with Soviet civilian Natalia (Barbara Carrera). The mission is supposed to be safe and simple but turns out otherwise,
allowing Woody to cavort in a superman suit and test his hero's mettle in real life. Of course, he also falls in love with the beautiful Natalia, who turns out to be a KGB agent ready to defect. The film is pleasant but too hackneyed and heavy-handed to work well.
