This time out, pilots Kennedy, Delon, and flight engineer Warner save half of Hollywood from an attack of electronic missiles, a near run-in with a French fighter jet, the loss of a cargo door, a crash landing in an Alpine snowbank, a runway landing with no brakes, and an explosion that occurs only seconds after tinsel-towners disembark. Meanwhile, reporter Blakely is sitting on incriminating evidence against Wagner, who is behind all the hijinks. The supersonic jet takes center stage, sparing audiences from most of the babbling of the two-dimensional characters.
