Francis stars as a woman with a devouring ambition to be a successful actress and raise enough money to free her husband (Litel) from jail (he had been hounded into committing murder). Movie covers the seven years it takes her to become a star and the effect of stardom on her life. It was the second movie that year for screen newcomer Hayward. leave a comment
