What Comes Around

This isn't so much a film as it is a vanity project for its executive producer-director-star, country singer Jerry Reed. He plays--surprise, surprise--Joe Hawkins, a country singer who's been in the business for a quarter of a century. His years on the road have taken a toll, for Hawkins is a burnt-out, pill-popping booze hound. His personal manager has used the star's addled state to his advantage, cheating Hawkins out of $8 million. But Hawkins' brother (Bo Hopkins) catches onto the scam.
