Fox's answer to Paramount's GOING MY WAY and THE BELLS OF ST. MARY'S is this delightful, gentle story about two French nuns, Sister Margaret (Loretta Young) and Sister Scolastica (Celeste Holm), who leave their abbey in Europe and arrive in a New England town called Bethlehem, intending to establish a children's hospital there. The nuns are determined to build the hospital and cannot be talked out of it, nor can anyone resist their charm as they cajole their way into achieving their aim.
