Hope is a stage singer fired by producer Clark for incompetence, then rehired when the show's lead, Martin, is stalked by "Jack the Slasher" (Strauss). Strauss wants Martin's leading lady, Dahl. The killer chases after Hope, ruining the show. A thinly written comedy that even Hope's talents can't help. Songs and musical numbers: "Girls Are Here To Stay," "Never So Beautiful," "You Got Class," "Desire," "When You Love Someone," "Ali Baba Be My Baby," "Heavenly Days," "See the Circus," and "Peace" (Jay Livingston, Ray Evans). leave a comment
