When Colt firearms representative Randolph Scott goes on a promotional tour out west touting the new rapid-fire .45, Zachary Scott steals a pair of the guns and begins a deadly bank-robbing spree. Feeling responsible, Randolph swears to stop the crimes and catch the culprit.
