An odd combination of the "Hey kids, let's put on a show!" formula and the standard football drama, this musical comedy revolves around the competition between two rival department stores. Eventually, the singing and dancing college kids who populate the film decide that a football game is
the best way to settle things. Joe Penner, a radio comedian best known for his association with his famous duck, makes an easy transition to the screen here, adding some much needed humor to this rather lifeless mixed bag.
