When campus queen Barbara Shirrel (Mary Carlisle) falls for singing professor Frederick Danvers (Bing Crosby), her football star admirer, Mondrake (Richard Arlen), becomes jealous, and his interest in his sport diminishes, jeopardizing the team's future. Never fear; Barbara's brother, Barney (Jack Oakie), takes Mondrake's place in the lineup and everything is hunky-dory. Sloppily made, COLLEGE HUMOR was an early vehicle for Crosby, who was on the verge of the most important stage of his career. leave a comment
