Clue Of The Twisted Candle

When the rivals of financial wizard Knight are murdered one by one, Lee investigates the paranoid, reclusive businessman and discovers how the fellow could have left his locked room to perpetrate the crimes. This predictable murder mystery is based on a book by Edgar Wallace, an author whose familiar plots were always rich with eccentric characters and grisly killings. Those interesting elements are dealt with rather lightly here, making the entire affair much too simplistic.
