Out Of The Clouds

The everyday life and drama of London Airport's employees is brought to the screen in this unlikely mishmash of characterizations. It has the feel of a soap opera crossed with a documentary as we watch Steel, the gambling pilot who gets involved in a smuggling ring; Beatty, the duty officer waiting for his chance to fly; Justice, the superstitious pilot; and Gayson, the hostess who is everyone's flame. OUT OF THE CLOUDS subscribes to the theory that there is drama in everyone's life, but this picture proves that such drama isn't always worth putting on the screen.
