Early day cameraman story has Armstrong undoing himself with heavy drink and wild escapades while his apprentice, Cromwell, is left with his mistakes, taking the blame for superimposed photos, lost lenses and general foul-ups. Though Cromwell is fired from his job, he gets the girl, Wilson,
and saves the day by recording the destruction of a dirigible. Excellent newsreel footage showing early-day naval maneuvers and aerial shots enhance a rather lame story and sophomoric dialog.
