After the Syrians are defeated by the Egyptians, Paget, the Syrian daughter of Cleopatra, is carried back to Egypt and forced to marry Pani. Before their marriage is consummated, though, Pani is poisoned by his uncle (Crisa). Paget is accused of the crime and sentenced to be buried alive
with her husband in a pyramid. Court physician Manni gives her a drug which simulates death, and during the night he and a group of tomb robbers break into the burial chamber and free her. Manni and Paget escape through the desert with a caravan. More swords-and-sandals stuff, this film offers the
usual second-rate American stars to give it box office appeal.
