The first all-Australian production in nearly a decade, this low-budget film reveals in flashback how Dixon, apparently a fugitive killer, is discovered lying face down in a bank of wet clay. He is taken in by an isolated community of potters and falls in love with Lebedew. A jealous suitor goes to the police and turns Dixon in, but Lebedew avenges him. leave a comment
