The film's implausible story concerns a racketeer who rises to become top dog in the underworld. His ascent is made possible by a young law student he took under his wing and sent to law school. The young man finds loopholes in the law to help the gangster on his upward climb. The kid turns honest when he falls in love, much to the dismay of his crooked mentor. leave a comment
