Filmed in 1980 but not released in the US until 1983, Umberto Lenzi's CITY OF THE WALKING DEAD is another dumb Italian zombie film that suffers from some terribly meandering direction. The movie opens as a plane lands at an airport and the doors open to unleash a horde of flesh-eating
zombies that terrorize the city. It seems that a professor on board the flight was suffering from radiation sickness, which in turn infected the other passengers. Even the military cannot stop the multitude of zombies, which are multiplying faster than they can be killed. Bloody and boring.
