Bruce Lee, James Coburn, and Stirling Silliphant originally wrote this martial arts fantasy for Lee, but Carradine ended up as the star due to Lee's tragic early demise. Basically just another chop-chop kung fu film, CIRCLE OF IRON lacks the intensity that Lee could have given it.
