The Church

THE CHURCH is the second film by young director Michele Soavi, who began his career as an actor and segued into directing with the help of mentor Dario Argento, often referred to as the "Italian Hitchcock." Like Soavi's first film, DELIRIA, THE CHURCH owes much to Argento's work--which includes such films as THE BIRD WITH THE CRYSTAL PLUMAGE, SUSPIRIA and OPERA--both good and bad.
