Prince Caspian — Blu-ray Review

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

I have a distinct memory of the local librarian leading me over to a wall of books where she pulled The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe from a shelf and handed it to me, saying "Gordon, you'll love this series of books." She was right; I read all the books in The Chronicles of Narnia series over the following months, and the series remains a childhood favorite. I loved the first movie when it came out a couple of years ago, and I was eager to watch Prince Caspian on Blu-ray, since I missed it in the theater. The movie joins Peter, Susan, Lucy and Edmond Pevensie as they return to the land of Narnia only to find it's not quite the place they left behind. The Telmarines have taken over the land, nearly causing the extinction of the Narnians, and now their nation is in a state of upheaval as the heir to the throne, Prince Caspian, has been chased from his throne by his Uncle. The Pevensie siblings battle with the Prince to restore him to the throne, and bring peace back to the land of Narnia. read more
