Opening with an interview with Keeler, herself barely out of prison at the time, the film moves on to show Buckingham coming to London, becoming a model and hostess, and meeting Brandet, who introduces her to Barrymore. Soon she is living with him in a platonic relationship. She leaves him to live with a West Indian musician.
