She Had To Choose

Crabbe is the love target of Jewell, a poor orphaned girl, and Blane, a rich society woman. Toomey, Blane's brother, is after Jewell, and following a number of unrealistic dramatics in which Jewell and Toomey marry, Crabbe kills the groom, Jewell and Crabbe finally have their go at it, and Crabbe is exonerated by some legerdemain of the law. Crabbe and Blane at least attempt to act, which no one else seems to do. But the lack of plot is the real culprit.
