Testi is a gunfighter saved from the gallows by railroad men who want him to kill Oates because the latter's farm is in the way of their line. Testi fails to kill Oates, but he does sleep with Agutter, Oates's wife. When he leaves, she follows him, believing her husband to be dead. The rail barons send out more men to kill Testi, and Oates turns up alive with a couple of his brothers to help settle the score. The two sharers of Agutter's favors band together to defeat the railroad men. Testi refuses again to kill Oates and rides off alone. An interesting adult western from cult director Hellman.
