Walsh's direction lifts this slightly above the mass of B westerns. Morgan plays a gambler hired to track down a dreaded outlaw (Bennett). The bandit's wife (Wyman) tries to stand in his way but, as things go, ends up falling in love with him. Paige appears as the requisite sexy saloon
singer, performing "Going Back to Old Cheyenne" and "I'm So in Love." Smoothly handled and fairly lavish, CHEYENNE suffers from the presence of its key cast members, none of whom look entirely comfortable in a Western.
