The son of a brewery owner gets a job with his father's rival in order to ruin the latter's business, but he falls in love with Pilbeam, his boss's daughter. A predictable plot is nicely done, and the film hints at the delightful comedies that would emerge from Ealing Studios after WW II. leave a comment
