This trite political biography offers a pseudodocumentary approach to the life of Che Guevara. The film begins with Guevara (Sharif) as a radical youth working for Castro (Palance). It then chronicles his role in Castro's rebellion against the Batista government, followed by his disillusionment with Castro. He leaves Cuba to aid a rebellion in Bolivia, where he is killed. Palance's performance as Castro has to be seen to be believed. leave a comment
