Emery is the title character who, along with sidekick Nesbitt, tries to put this gross picture across. They are on the chase for four women who have the location of some missing bonds tattooed on their bottoms. The Mafia gets involved in the scheme, pursuing Emery through London and on to Rome, where the amiable con man ends up trying to sell the Sistine Chapel to some naive Americans.
