This last appearance of Oland as Charlie Chan finds him on a gambling vacation in Monaco. But poor Oland doesn't have a chance of relaxing and is immediately called on to help solve the murders of two men and clear up the mystery of a missing million dollars in bonds. Everyone in the cast is a suspect but the plot is so muddled no one can figure out who the villain is. Since a third of the dialog is in French it's a moot point anyway. leave a comment
